Jersey City Waterfront

Battery Park and One World Trade Center (Freedom Tower)

The polar vortex has finally moved on and the weather is now a balmy 35F. The air seems much crisper and cleaner so maybe the chill helped a bit!

Today was a work from home day and during a break from work, I took RJ on a little walk. One of my goals this year is better photography so, at the last minute, I took my camera with me as well. Practice makes perfect!

Walking along the Jersey City waterfront it’s hard to ignore the huge city across the river. Today I had excellent views of Manhattan from the tip of the island north to Columbus Circle (judging by the landmark buildings I recognized). So I took a few pictures.

I still need to get a better lens for outdoor shots but here are some pictures from our walk today.

The winter sunshine looked very pretty bouncing off the skyscrapers in Manhattan. It was too cold to take many pictures but I am glad I squeezed these in!
